Business Analyst
Job Description:

A Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing processes, and creating solutions to improve overall business performance. They act as a bridge between stakeholders, such as management, IT teams, and other departments, to ensure that business goals are effectively translated into technical solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Requirements Gathering Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements through interviews, surveys, and workshops. Document and validate requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Process Analysis and Improvement Map and analyze existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement. Develop process models to facilitate changes and optimizations. Data Analysis Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making processes. Use data to identify trends, make predictions, and provide actionable insights for the business. Solution Design and Validation Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Work on designing and testing new system functionalities, ensuring they meet business needs. Project Management Support Assist in project planning and coordination, including developing timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or changes. User Training and Support Develop training materials and conduct sessions to help users understand new systems or process changes. Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues post-implementation.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (often preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and process modeling tools. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Personal Attributes Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Adaptability and a proactive approach to tackling business challenges.
