A B2B Domestic Tour Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, development, and execution of domestic tour packages for business-to-business (B2B) clients. This role typically involves working with travel agencies, corporate clients, and other business entities to create, promote, and manage travel packages within the country.
Tour Package Development Design and develop domestic tour packages tailored for B2B clients, focusing on market trends, client needs, and seasonal demand. Collaborate with suppliers (hotels, transport services, attraction providers) to negotiate rates, secure reservations, and build reliable partnerships. Ensure high-quality service standards for all elements of the tour package, meeting the specific needs of B2B clients. Client Relationship Management Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing B2B clients (corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners). Act as the main point of contact for inquiries, bookings, and service-related issues, delivering prompt and effective solutions to maximize client satisfaction. Gather feedback post-tour and implement improvements to enhance future offerings. Sales and Marketing Support Work closely with the sales and marketing team to promote tour packages through presentations, trade shows, and targeted campaigns. Assist in creating marketing collateral and promotional materials that highlight the unique value propositions of the tour packages. Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and tailor packages to appeal to various business sectors. Operational Coordination Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all tour components (transportation, accommodation, dining, guided tours) align with client requirements and run smoothly. Monitor and manage tour logistics, scheduling, and customer service to ensure flawless delivery of tour services. Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, and emergencies professionally, maintaining smooth operations and client satisfaction. Budgeting and Financial Management Develop and manage budgets for tour packages, ensuring profitability while maintaining high service standards. Prepare financial reports, monitor expenses, and make adjustments to maximize revenue and reduce costs. Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers to secure competitive rates and manage payment schedules.
Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field. Experience in tour operations, preferably in a B2B setting, with a strong background in domestic tourism. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of domestic tourism destinations, trends, and customer preferences. Ability to manage budgets, forecast sales, and develop pricing strategies. Proficiency in CRM and tour management software is preferred. Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage unexpected situations with professionalism.
