Job Description:

Position Summary: The Travel Agency Executive plays a pivotal role in managing client accounts, handling travel bookings, and providing personalized travel solutions. This position involves working directly with clients to arrange travel itineraries, offering expert advice on destinations, and ensuring that each client has a seamless travel experience. The Executive is also responsible for building relationships with suppliers and staying updated on travel trends and industry changes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Key Responsibilities: Communicate with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets. Research and recommend travel destinations, itineraries, and packages to meet client preferences. Handle all travel bookings, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and activities. Build and maintain relationships with travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators) for favorable terms and exclusive offers. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on travel requirements, such as visas, health, and safety regulations. Resolve any client issues or last-minute changes in a timely, professional manner. Stay informed about industry trends, popular destinations, and new travel offerings. Maintain records of bookings, client preferences, and payment details. Upsell and cross-sell travel products, enhancing client experience while meeting sales goals.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree in any field, with a preference for Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or Business. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an orientation toward customer service. Proficiency in travel booking systems and software (e.g., GDS, CRM). Ability to handle multiple client accounts and travel arrangements efficiently. Preferred Skills: Certification in travel and tourism (such as IATA, CTA). Multilingual abilities to serve international clients. Previous experience in a travel agency or hospitality setting is an advantage.
