Job Description:

Position Summary: The Senior Captain / Supervisor leads the F&B service team and ensures the smooth operation of all service areas, focusing on guest satisfaction and service quality. This role involves coordinating with the restaurant management team, overseeing junior staff, and maintaining service standards. The Senior Captain / Supervisor provides hands-on support and leadership, guiding the team through daily operations and helping to resolve issues as they arise.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Key Responsibilities: Supervise F&B service staff, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality guest service. Lead by example, providing hands-on support during peak service times. Train, coach, and mentor junior staff to enhance performance and service skills. Monitor service standards and maintain consistency in guest experience. Communicate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely food and beverage delivery. Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, escalating issues as necessary. Assist in inventory control, managing stock levels, and placing orders as needed. Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards within the service areas. Conduct shift briefings to update staff on daily goals and special instructions. Prepare reports and provide feedback to the management team.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

Requirements: Experience in an F&B supervisory role or as a Senior Captain. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of F&B service operations and industry standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure. Preferred Skills: Experience in high-volume or upscale dining environments. Proficiency in POS systems and other F&B software. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
